biography

regina spaenle, born 1964 in munich germany, started playing and studying classical guitar at the age of 7. she was performing at many concerts during her schoolyears and at age 15 she bought her first stratocaster. after that she spent every minute learning how to play.

in 1983 she decided to become a professional guitarplayer and worked in many bands all over germany austria and switzerland. doing live gigs, teaching, writing music and playing tv shows until 1992, when she studied for 1 year at the MGI guitarschool in munich. this was just the preparation for bigger things to come.

working many nights as a taxidriver she earned enough money to finance her dream: a 1 year education at famous GIT in hollywood, californa. she graduated successfully in 1994 and spent another year in los angeles gigging regularly with a black soca and reggae steelband.

after returning to munich she bought an old atari computer and started getting heavily into recording, writing and studio techniques. at this time she also discovered the exploding electronic music and club scene, being absolutely fascinated with the endless possibilites and learning everything she could about producing.

today regina spaenle is an expert in many fields such as pc hardware, software, troubleshooting, building audio and graphics workstations, design, 2d and especially 3d graphics. in her self built studio she spends countless days and nights coming up with crazy ideas and perfecting her style. having such a huge musical background and her abilities as a guitar- bassplayer and singer, combined with an outstanding pc knowledge, sets her apart from many others.

in the end it all comes down to taste, knowing what to keep and what to throw away, the essence of music becomes a feeling that can touch peoples hearts and souls.
